Principals take tough decision
The Ceylon Principals’ Association says even if the schools which have been closed due to the covid epidemic will be reopened on the 21st, the principals will not report for duty.
Secretary of the Ceylon Principals’ Association Piyasiri Fernando said that the Secretary of the Ministry of Education has been informed of the decision in a letter. The letter states that the decision was taken as the present government has not yet resolved the salary issue of teachers and principals which has not been resolved for a long time.
